He would have been 105 today,
old or not, I loved his rhymes anyway
Lorax, Horton or Sneeches
So many Seussian stories are set on beaches
Green Eggs and Ham are worth makin
but in reality, I do prefer bacon.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

I'm told was my favorite book when I was a toddler. Oh, the Places You'll Go! is what I usually give as a high school graduation gift. I'm sure it's not as appreciated as cash, but I'm not so bucks up that I can give that preferred present.
happy birthday, dr.!

“My alphabet starts with this letter called yuzz. It's the letter I use to spell yuzz-a-ma-tuzz. You'll be sort of surprised what there is to be found once you go beyond 'Z' and start poking around!”

I miss Read Across America day. When I worked at the school library I made sure to pass out the Seuss books evenly to all classes so that they could all be reading/read to at the appointed time. We had volunteers come in and help - a local hotel sent their staff, once.
Seuss is still the king.
