Window to The Magic

I realize I am very late to the party on this one :eek:

I just found the Podcast section on Winamp and did a search for "Disney" and found "Window To The Magic" I saw that there were many editions of the podcast still available to listen to...all the way back to 2005! I am really digging these right now! I've heard many Disney podcasts and a lot of them are very informative and talky but these are audio-based with "Where Am I In The Park" contests. I am still listening to versions from 2005 and working forward and the main focus is Disneyland.

I'm hoping for other Mousepod projects down the line, but I expect new home ownership is putting a monkeywrench in things, not that this is a bad thing, mind.....

I've heard that the creator of The MousePod is putting together a non-Disney podcast... expect an announcement soon.

As far as Window is concerned, I think that it's one of the more entertaining shows. My only real issue is with him (and other people) selling home-made videos of park stuff for their own profit. Creating original content is one thing - putting a camera down on Main Street, taping a parade, and then selling the resultant DVD is tacky, IMHO.

If you want to hear some excellent Disney podcasts, I'd recommend the Disney Podcast Network (http://www.thedpn.com/). A swell bunch of people, with some very entertaining programming.

Yay Mousepod! Oh, how I miss those days, of extensive park recon, writing up my own treatises, and skype interviews!

Are the old Mousepods still available online?

One can never be very late to a podcast party. :D

I have listened to his podcast rarely and it is well produced, If you want to hear more Disney World you should check out Inside the Magic, Paul works with Ricky on round table discussions form time to time on things that affect both coasts but Ricky focuses mostly on Walt Disney World, and had continued to improve the quality and sound of his podcast.

I used to listen to the Inside the Magic podcast. I liked Ricky. I don't think I will be going to WDW anytime soon though, so I stopped listening to it.
