I think I'm catching a design bug. Since discovering that shirt.woot.com has a weekly design contest (top 3 get sold on the site), I've entered two designs. They're very simple images, not as fancy as the ones submitted by people with tablets and Illustrator, but there's nothing saying that people can't like a simple design as much as an elaborate one.

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you take a look, and if you like it, I'd appreciate your votes.

Here's the one I just submitted (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=29893)

And here's the one I put in yesterday (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=29780)

(Oh, and if you submit anything, feel free to add it to this thread, I'd love to see!)

I don't get the poison bottle on the cherry pi(e) shirt. Are you suggesting cherry pie is deadly?

Or that the song Cherry Pie was recorded by a band named Poison? (It's a "music" theme this week)

Cherry Pie was recorded by Warrant - here's the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdDxz2bkfhE)

The first one looks like it has a hose coming out of the round thing which goes around the babies foot. I was thinking it was some weird roomba or something. It to me some time to figure out it was a pot.

476 votes for This (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=29653). Why?

Doh! No wonder I only have 12 votes :P

By the way, if you ever buy shirts from Woot, buy them a size bigger. They shrink.

Very cool shirts! I like the Cherry Pi one. :)

I entered this week's derby. My design is almost intentionally sucky. Ideally, given an unlimited amount of time and the ability to do the art on paper first and scan it in, I'd probably do a decent version of this, but c'est la vie. Under the circumstances, it amuses me.

Okay, this week's theme was "Almost". Oh, and no text allowed (there went my lotto ticket idea...)
Here's my entry (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=30428)

This week's theme was Trees. Or in my case, a Bacon Tree (http://shirt.woot.com/Derby/Entry.aspx?id=30701).

Oh, I think a few of you will want to participate in this week's derby.

The theme is STEAMPUNK (http://shirt.woot.com/Blog/ViewEntry.aspx?Id=8050)

I've been following this thread since the start.

Am I the only one that thinks the people voting on these shirts must be on crack? I mean really, I do not get what's cool about any of the winning shirts so far.

I'm kinda scared too. I think if I do a submission, I'll probably hand draw it, then scan it in and convert it to printable colors, because I don't think I have the mad touchscreen skills it would take to do the category justice.
