(ps: I tried to preview the file and it took me to some survey thing, but if you just download the file you don't have to deal with that)

How did you bypass the survey? I don't see an option to "just download the file". If I right-click on the "Download MP3" link I get a php page.

I never saw a survey. There was a "download file" link, I clicked it, the file downloaded.

I got the survey thingie when I tried to preview the file. I had to back out completely and re-convert the file so I could download it to my computer.

I never tried to preview the file. As soon as I click the download link I get taken to the next page and after about one second, the survey block page comes up.
It's a shame, this is a service I'd really like to use. :(

I actually started to fill out the survey, then gave up, and closed out the window. Maybe that will work?

You could also try Vixy (http://vixy.net/). You can choose a few different download/conversion types (including audio only MP3). They have a desktop app you can download as well (which is probably more reliable than their server right now).

Wasn't there a RealPlayer plugin that gave you the option to download any and all online streaming video? I had that for a while but ended up uninstalling it because I found it bothersome and I had little reason to use it.

RealPlayer = Teh Debil
Joking aside, it's just a horrible, horrible program which overextends its reach and welcome.
