We're home.

I am oddly meloncholy- not really sure why. The drive out was great-the weekend was fun- tiring but fun- it was good to see everyone. Monday we stayed close to home base- did some shopping. Got on the road too late- I thought I would be ok- I wasn't. Did not even make it out of California-spent the night in Barstow. Spent the second night in a rest stop in Utah. Got home Wednesday afternoon-

It was miserable.

Next time I will find a way to pay for flights- just to spare myself the stress, exhaustion and unhappiness I am now mired in.

I don't want to see DCA again til they are done "fixing" it-

-and I will do anything to avoid crowds like we saw on Saturday and Sunday at DL.

What happened to me? Am I Disney'd out? I don't want to be- maybe I am just tired. We burned the candles at both ends and lit a match in the middle too- we did so much. I think because I know I won't be able to get back out for a while-we pushed- well, I pushed.

*sigh* Mistakes were made- and I am really hard on myself when I screw something up- especially when I thought I had all of it worked out.

Hopefully I will be back to normal once I have gotten more sleep-it WAS good to see everyone!

Post Traumatic Disney Disorder.

I know it well. Each time I've come back from a Disney trip I go through a period where I don't want to talk or even think about anything Disney for awhile. Some might have noticed that the trip report (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?t=8126) I posted from our last trip only included the first day (which I wrote up on the flight back home). After that I just did not want to deal with it anymore.

The only cure is time and planning another trip.

Glad to hear you got home in one piece.

Well, two pieces really--you and Rose. ;)

Just along I-70.

Rosie did ask about you-maybe next time we can swing your way.

I'm pretty far north, probably too far to detour for a visit coming from California, but who knows - maybe a road trip would be in our future. I know J hasn't been to Colorado before, and we have some other friends who recently moved out there. :)

Glad you survived it! Hopefully you'll feel better after some sleep and maybe some good hot morning beverage (can't remember if you drink coffee or tea).

Was really good to see you. **hugs**
