The Goode Family is Mike Judge's new animated series. It's like King of the Hill turned on its head. The family is the ultimate in vegan, recycling hybrid-drivers.

As you might expect, it's hilarious. Full episodes in HD are available here (http://abc.go.com/primetime/thegoodefamily/index), and ABC's player is rather good (I recommend using Internet Explorer - Firefox gave us trouble.)

Highly recommended. Judge is a freakin' genius.

I second the recommendation, though I fear me liking it will be the kiss of death. ;)

It's hilarious.

I do wonder why I have a season pass to it on my TIVO but it comes up as Manual: Wipeout (I selected The Goode Family and the TIVO guide says The Goode Family but it displays on TIVO as Manual: Wipeout).

I am amused enough to give it a shot :)

I watched the first few minutes. Is the "pet" supposed to become a regular character? If so, very funny, but I found it hard to look at.

Did you read Nikki Finke this morning? Goode Family was unexpectedly canceled.

I must admit I was mildly irritated by it by the time the title card came up and didn't go any farther. I'll probably give it a shot on TV sometime but it didn't win me over in the four minutes I gave it.

But I'm still somewhat pissed off at Mike Judge for eugenics comedy styling that was Idiocracy.

I just watched a second episode of TGF and I find the characters growing on me. I hope ABC gives the show a chance to grow, though it appears viewers are not watching it by the millions. Too bad.

This show continues to deliver. I highly recommend the last couple of episodes.

This show better survive. (http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=107532004448&h=NQtda&u=_eM5q&ref=mf) Laugh at yourselves, eco freaks!! :D

According this article (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204621904574250054110699822.html), the last new episode will air on July 17. If correct and if Wikipedia is right that means there will still be 4 episodes unaired. Not completely a run in summer would pretty much mean the show is dead.

But that WSJ article is the only one I can find. Hardly anything else is even talking about it (which in its own way is not a goode sign).
