Why, you can do that in one easy step. Get an ugly friend! (http://www.mccanndigital.co.il/Cannes09/Breezer_Minisite.html)
Thanks, Bacardi, for that excellent trip into really bad photoshopping and distasteful copy writing. I'm all for having a sense of humor, but, "get your own pile of freckled cellulite?" Really? And what's wrong with an aquiline nose?

That was a rather rude ad. Makes me want to not buy Bacardi.

Wow. Not funny, insulting, gross. I clicked the link to the ad company, McCann Digital, and it's an Israeli company. Sigh.

Yeah, that was basically just un-funny.

Alcopops are now taxed way higher than other alcohol in Australia to try and stop the Pop-Tarts from drinking so much of them.
Serves them right if this is the kind of **** they think is funny. Mean Girls type humour is totally lost on me.
The only thing truly ugly about that campaign are the souls of the people who created it. Anyway, the link is all ready down. I imagine Bacardi has been getting some really bad press.

Just the same I am going to add Bacardi to my official List of No.

I don't know why, but I feel like this post belongs in this thread.
My 85 year old aunt thinks I should shave my beard. Why? Well, if I weren't such a good looking young man, she says, she'd understand the beard. But since I am, she doesn't see the point. Apparently the only reason to have a beard is to mask one's hideousness.
"Happiness is seeing someone fatter than myself on the street."
-my mother, who was not fat
Ah yes, solid values learned at my mother's knee.
But being the ugly friend is the only reason I ever get to go to cool parties!

Perhaps we might work out an arrangement to our mutual advantage. Here's what I'm thinking: we stand next to each other at some cool party. You make me look prettier and I make you look younger. We have a deal?
Sure, but who do we befriend to get invited in the first place?
I also provide thinning services for weddings, mat mitzvahs, and NBA victory riots.

OR - to mask one's homosexuality.
I used to sport a mustache to detract a bit from my overlarge jewboy nose.
