What an interesting concept. 2 liter soda bottles filled with water and fit into the roof in a way that lights the room below. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zMAWztZ6TI&feature=player_embedded)

Very creative and they really seem to work well.

Last camping trip Andrew's wonderful wife did something similar to good camp lighting effect by balancing a gallon water bottle on top of a flashlight.

That's awesome! I've thought about getting this solar light cap (http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?categoryId=57619&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&feat=sr&freeText=solar%20bottle) for use camping. It turns a normal Nalgene-style water bottle into a light.

I gave poor badgershroom a thumb's up, as his comment has taken a few hits. Nobody appreciates a wise-ass.

This is great, if you don't have an attic space, or insulation, or anything.

Perhaps I'd remember this trick for a playhouse or a shed of some kind.
