When we moved into our new place in February, Heather and I decided that we were going to convert the bedroom over the garage into a den and not have our TV in the living room. Since the den wouldn't be ready for a few months, we went ahead and temporarily stuck the behemoth in the living room anyway.

Yesterday, I unpacked our new video projector and set it up in the living room (the den is still about two months away from completion), and it became apparent that the tv has to go, like, immediately.

So... before I open myself up to the potential creepiness that is craigslist... does anyone here know anyone who might be interested in a 65" DLP HDTV?

"Dumping." That means "free", right? ;)

I SO wish.

Not free, sadly, but pretty reasonable, I think. I'm not looking to recoup what I paid, it is a used piece of electronics, after all. I just want enough cash to get a (much) smaller tv for the guest room...

So how much are we thinking of? How old is it? Is it 1080 or 720 dpi?

I'll take it. Can you bring it over? ;)

It's 720P, 65" DLP Toshiba... but I think that it's already been taken.

The big Toshiba has left Silver Lake and is now residing in a lovely, pet-friendly home in Chatsworth. I wonder how long before the face of a certain New Jersey-based rock star graces the screen?

Thanks to a wonderful dad, and a friendly neighbor, the big Toshiba is now being stared at by dogs and kitties. I'm still putting everything back in place, but I think this is gonna be wonderful. :D

I love when this type of thing works out among swankers. I'll never forget the first time we met LSPE - when we sold her our old TV.
