They've split Star Wars into 15 second clips, and invited people to recreate each one. They'll cut them together and present the whole movie.

All 470 are unfortunately already claimed. But the site is promising something new by the end of the week.

Heheh, that's pretty awesome. Too bad didn't learn about it in time, and that I don't have a video camera ... or a Princess Leia wig. Or, ya know, a Darth Vader costume.

Her opening scene with Vader is hysterical, and I'd love to recreate it. Oh well.

That... is hilarious. Can't wait to sit down for the whole movie :) I wonder if Lucas the Hutt is making any money off of this? I hope not :(

3 of the scenes are done, 2 are good, 1 is terrrrrrible. Be sure to click on the vimeo link in one of the good ones for the extra scene, "Vader is Back."

I imagine watching the whole thing will be some tough slogging.

The cheezy one is right - this one will probably be a tough watch.

I ran across this site again today.

Good news for all you wanna be film makers. Some spots are now open in the production. Good luck.

I'm proud of myself. I only got 10 minutes in before I realized, "WTF am I doing, I'm at work?!" and stopped.
