The game is simple. Input any English phrase, click "Find equilibrium". The site then begins to translate into Japanese, then back into English, then back into Japanese, until it reaches a phrase that translates the same both ways.
I've taken to grabbing submitted quotes from the LoT and entering Them.
"I thought he was gonna give me a field sobriety test, simply for my pants." -Coaster Matt BECOMES "My cup, my pants, I'm going to test him."
"Just another mental image that makes me wish that my brain had a delete button." - Motorboat Cruiser BECOMES "I need to remove the mental image I need in my brain."
I think it's using a pretty week and buggy translation engine, unfortunately, but that does lead to greater comedic effect.

Well, if you want to make it EASY for people, fine.
Yeah, definitely a weak engine (wonder who they use). The word "president" gets translated as "Bush". So President Obama results quickly in Bush Obama.
"President Obama wants to set up death panels to begin killing all old people and cripples."
results intermediately in, apparently Bush trying to kill Obama:
"President Bush, I'm all for the death of the elderly who want to set up a panel of the death of Mr. Obama is to start cripples."
and then finally
"President Obama BUTOBUSSHU cripples panel, please set the death of the elderly have been killed."
"When monkeys fly out of my ass you'll know that Glenn Beck uttered a sensible thought."
Gets you
"Glenn Beck, in his discretion, and I know the concept of a plane."
Interesting, but my suspicion is that Glenn Beck does not understand the concept of a plane (either the flying machine or the two-dimensional object).

Out of curiosity I decided to compare it to Google's so I manually stepped through it.
"Gronbech, I would have been expected to know the flight wise monkeys"
If anything, I'm going to enjoy referring to him as "Gronbech" from now on.
How did you get Google to produce something different? I just did that too and it just spit back a perfect reversal back from English to Japanese.
ETA: Never mind, figured it out.

Hmm. This is the translation page I used: http://translate.google.com/?hl=en#
The result of the first English->Japanese:
サルが私のお尻のグレンベックは賢明な考えを口に知っているでしょうから飛び立つ。
The result of the reverse:
Gronbech the bottom of the monkeys will fly out of my you know the one sensible idea.
And it goes on from there.
Perhaps you just hit "swap" without copying and pasting the Japanese text into the text box? The "swap" button simply swaps the language direction, it doesn't change which block of text it takes as input, you have to manually do that.
ETA: Never mind, you figured it out.

I've done the thing where to translate an English phrase into one language, then another, then another, then still another, then back to English. It can be very funny.
My line about Glenn Beck sentence if you put it through every Google Translate language (except Chinese and Hebrew since those seemed to really screw things up):
If you serdytsya Monkeys. gurenbetkueul know.

There's a band from NY called The Fiery Furnaces. On their last tour, I bought an illustrated book they put out that contains the lyrics from their most lyric-heavy albums - "Blueberry Boat" - put through translation machines. Good stuff.

" If he takes that damn sign again, CALL SECURITY!"
BECOMES
"Security signs of his heart again!"
