Tonight I lay me down to sleep, a bitter east coaster between the sheets.

But, tomorrow, oh glorious tomorrow, I shall sleep among the stars.... Well in Pasadena anyways which is close enough for me.

California, here I come right back where I started from.
Where Bowers of flowers bloom in the spring.
Each morning at dawning, birdies sing an' everything.
A sunkist miss said, "Don't be late" that's why I can hardly wait.
Open up that Golden Gate,
California here I come.

:D

When will you arrive? Up for a cemetery screening Saturday night?

The full Moonie Assault Group lands late tomorrow (thursday).

We are coming out for a family reunion so I'm afraid there will be no time for actual fun.

We are doing the Dodger game Friday, the Original Pantry Sunday Morning, there is rumor of a casino trip and perhaps a Jazz concert at Heff's place. A couple of college tours for Moonie Junior and then we fly out early Tuesday.

So no, while a Cemetery screening sounds perfect we will have to pass this time around.

Which colleges? (Say SC... say SC!)

I'm sure you'd be *heartbroken* if Moonie Jr. chose a college all the way out here, where you'd have to fly out and visit, right? Right?

I'd be happy to show yoy around my alma mater, if needed :)

However, if you're going there Saturday, you'll have to forego the personal tour and console yourself with the free scrimmage going on at the Coliseum. Though I know you HATE sports so.

Get there early, and/or be prepared for the massive line.

Yum!

Great schools... Well, I dunno about that USC, hehe. LMU is in a great area, I can attest.

Saturday night (actually, all of Saturday) is mysteriously unaccounted for in your itinerary. Is that when you'll be disposing of the bodies?

I think that might be his "personal gratification" time. So Cal is hot in so many ways. ;)

We are set for the formal tour at 9:00am on Monday. If you are in the area let me know.

Believe me if Sat was personal time you all would be the fist to know because I'd be beating feet down to DLR. Saturday is the formal reunion part of the reunion. We'll be hanging with the family all day.

I'm back once again to the Bitter East Coast after a few hectic days of LA sun and fun.

Thanks ever so much to Moorigoon for taking time out to give the Moonie Clan a personal tour of the USC campus including a look into the world famous trojan band room. It's an impressive school. :snap: :snap:

We also managed a quick meet up with Coaster Matt at Universal City Walk. Unfortunately I was watching twitter and not my text messages like I should have been so we missed a second chance to meet up. I'm still pissed at myself for that one.

The Dodgers game was great. We sat on the up-up-upper-top-of-the-world deck. What a view! Not only of the game but of the LA area in general. I had my Dodger dog, they beat the cubs, it was a glorious night.

I visited the Original Pantry not once but twice. Grandpa Moonie is a big pantry fan....

We had a nice tour of Universal City Walk, found some Mexican coke there and my Kryptonite: Popcornopolis (http://www.popcornopolis.com/). Damn that stuff is good.

The family reunion was, uhh interesting. Lot's of beer pong and a visit to a transvestite karaoke bar to finish out the night (We skipped out on that part)

Best quote of the day: "What kind of family reunion needs name tags so people know each other?"

We did the driving tour of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Rose Bowl, etc...

Visited the campuses of USC and LMU. Had dinner at a nice little french place in Pasadena.

Now I'm back at work and need a rest.
