What an interesting collection of people.

I was OK with the winner, although I preferred a couple of the outfits that were in the "safe" group. I was relieved by Ari's aufing. (After Mitchell left the runway, Bill remarked "this is where she unzips her skin and the alien pops out.")

Well, as I remarked to Dian during the All Star Project Runway that preceded the season opener. I hate Daniel's collection, this means it will win. For once I was correct. I did not get it at all. And, seriously, would Nicole Kidman be caught dead in that red carpet dress he created?

I'd forgotten how annoying Santino is.

I agree with JW, interesting group. Absolutely Ari needed to be auffed. I liked the winning piece, a whole lot. What I really loved were the intercuts of the judges reactions to some of the stuff coming down the runway. That was hilarious. too.many.commercials I think I need to get a TIVO so I can avoid all that.

Maybe my eye has become more disrciminating, but it seemed on the whole everyone's work was, I dunno - more sloppy.

Ari didn't have a chance of winning, but I wish she could have been around a few more episodes, as I found her one of the more entertaining participants.

I love the winning piece! I also loved the one John mentioned. I think they just picked Ari so she could be auff'ed the first show. I really was looking forward to the ruched dress that never made it to the runway It looked like it was going to be really interesting.

I'm bummed that Malvin got aufed - after Ari he was the only "out-there" designer. Sure the egg concept was a miss, and ended up looking rather sloppy on the model, but he was at least a designer not afraid to experiment and explore the art of fashion. While I would have never expected him to win, I would have loved to see how he addressed the challenges to come. Mitchell, on the other hand better deliver something spectacular soon as in my mind he's been on the bottom since the beginning.

I'm not really feeling it with PR6, but as the field narrows, I'm still watching.

Last week I was shocked when Ra'mon was auffed, I mean, WTF? Hello, Louise......... I thought Epperson was robbed and Nic's costume loooked like a rejected Tilda Swinton costume for Chronicles of Narnia.

So this week, finally Louise got the axe and Chris had a meltdown. Clearly he and Epperson were surprised that they were in the bottom 2 teams.

I'm actually enjoying Una Lamarche's (aka The Sassy Curnudgeon) recaps over at Huffington Post, here is this week's recap (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/una-lamarche/iproject-runwayi-episode_b_307594.html) They're a pretty fun read and you get to see some nice (or not) close ups of the runway.

It must be me, but I SO do not get the attraction to Logan, I do not think he is cute, or hot, or whatever. But, ymmv.
