So, today, I inadvertently planned a virtual craft and yard sale with a couple friends.

They'll be bringing unwanted or crafted stuff to my place, and we'll spend the afternoon photographing it and listing it on Etsy or Ebay, depending on the items. It's easy online, because each person can have their own account, yet still designate someone to handle the shipping from one location. (The latter of which will probably be me, since I have the garage space to stash stuff for the week.)

I've had some stuff that I need to list just sitting around and was just dreading the task of listing it, but now I'm looking forward to it being a bit fun and social. And, if all goes well, we hope to do it every other month to help clear some stuff out and keep making some crafts to bring in some extra cash.

While this isn't an open invitation to join us (there's only so much space in our home and it's not a party), I thought it would be a good idea to share with others to collaborate their own.

If you do it, I would love to hear about the experience! I'll share ours once we're set - about 2 weeks from now. :)

Oh, and don't forget to share your listings too!

I used to have a ton of craft stuff too... but got rid of it all when we last moved. Nowadays I have a glue gun and that's about it.

Related note - in digging out our crap, we discovered that the Dodger bobbleheads we've been saving from a game years ago have actually reached $40+ on eBay. One is now for sale and the rest are being stored...

So who wants a Parker 45 Convertible Pen (uses bottle or cartridge ink), still in box, circa 1961, color teal?

Wait. Maybe I do. It is kind of cool and we'd only get maybe $10.

Never mind.

That does sound rather cool. Can you still find ink that fits it?

You say that as if 1961 is old or something!

Hard to say about the cartridges, but yes, they sell ink in bottles that works for fountain pens.

It's funny. I just started looking for a good fountain pen.

$10 you say?

Well - for a pen it is. Sort of. :D

I was going to post a link to the old Pen Island website. But it's porn now.

Who wants the SOP to the DLR's Sub Voyage? I paid $10 several years back but it's yours if you make a donation to your local Humane Society.

PM me with your address, if you want this.

We've started the Ebay listings.

Please have a look and share the link!

Click here (http://shop.ebay.com/disneyphile13/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686).

We'll be listing more stuff every 1-2 days for the next few weeks at least, so be sure to check back often. And, it won't all be Boy Scout memorabilia - we have a variety of items that might spark someone's interest. :)

Thanks!

I'm sitting here listing more stuff, and got bids within minutes. It appears that a couple of our Boy Scout lots have something rather valuable in them. Schweet!!! :D
