Have you ever wanted to be served an elegant dinner for 22 while suspended 50 meters in the air? Well now you can if you're in Las Vegas (http://www.dinnerintheskylv.com/). A Paris version (http://www.dinnerinthesky.com/dits_dinner/index.php) is coming soon.
Because I have a fear of falling, there's no frelling way I'd do this.

I'd only do it if there was a sudden drop at the end of the meal.

How about during the meal? Could make for an interesting dining experience!

I'm game, if the food is good. A wedding in the sky would be fun to attend as well.
In the FAQ, they say it only takes a minute to reach the ground again, in case anyone has to go to the bathroom. I wonder how often such descents end up happening in a typical dinner. I can imagine getting on board thinking "nah, I don't have to go," and then just as soon as we reach maximum height, suddenly having to ask to be taken down again.

I'd be scared of dropping a glass on someone.

It could make getting up to pee interesting.
Edited to add: I should read the entire thread before posting, but I never do.

No way jose. I can't do anything where it requires dangling in the air for a long period of time.

I've had lunch in the Eiffel Tower in Paris (the REAL one, not the Las Vegas one) and that was high enough for me.

Walking down through the girderwork of the Eiffel Tower after lunch at the Jules Verne was one of my favorite things to do in Paris. And it was one of our first formal-ish meals there, so we hadn't yet discovered they won't bring you the check unless you ask for it. We hung out there for hours.
I don't always require formal dining ... but I've no desire to dine while dangling from a crane. So.Not.Classy.

We hung out there for hours. We ate at Altitude, and then took the elevator down. And the meal was paid for in advance, so we didn't need to ask for the cheque. But, yes. The French don't belive in hasstling you while you eat. If you want something, just motion for a server. They are usually watching you to see if you need something.

I think this would be much cooler if you'd get to rappel to the ground afterwards.
