I picked up some interesting film books very cheap. The Barrier Disney bio is also there, dirt cheap.

Linkie to the sale here (http://www.ucpress.edu/books/sale/)

Cool, thanks for the link!

I've been looking for this title (but not $90) for a while but I don't think it's happening.

So, what are the interesting film books you got? Wanna tell about 'em?

Amazon UK for about $60 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0820426245/ref=nosim/1557) US, no clue on shipping....

I picked up the Jeffrey Vance book on Douglas Fairbanks (It's not a great book, but for $13, might as well add to the library) and a bio on Louella Parsons. Again, for $6, worth a read, even though I think Parsons was a repulsive person, I'm still curious.

There is a gorgeous book of Ruth Harriet Louise photos for $14, but I already have it (paid $45 originally).

So there are some good deals, even if some of the books are academicly inclined.

Obviously, UC is in dire straights and this is one way to get some $$ coming in. I spent all of $20, but I'm happy.
