I haven't yet seen a Cinematic Titanic (http://cinematictitanic.com/) DVD because you have to buy them to see them and they originally cost $30.00 a piece.

I've been very intrigued though, because this is done by the original crew from MST3K and was created by Joel himself. (And now I see the DVD prices have come way down. Hmmm.)

I posted about this before, but now they're doing a live show in LA that we can actually attend! I want to buy tickets ASAP (it's a small venue) so I'm putting this out there but want to buy tomorrow.

The venue is the Largo at Coronet (http://www.largo-la.com/largohome.html) which does not do online sales. No ticket pricing info there. Today is going to be super busy for me so I may not have time to call for pricing.

Anyone else in? (I'll call Sczcerbiak if he doesn't respond here...)

ETA - we'd be interested in going on Sunday Oct. 25th.

According to the Largo website, the tix are $35 a pop.

If they don't do online ticket sales, why is there a Get Tickets link for the LA shows on the website?

The Get Tickets link takes you to Largo's site which then tells you to call or come to the box office.

Bah. Well, I'd be interested in this only if they were actually lampooning Titanic.

The films MST3K generally lampooned did not need any additional lampooning.

Then again, perhaps Titanic doesn't either.

Ok, our tix are bought. They have an old school operation, cash and will call only, and you get your seat assignment when you show up, so if anyone is still interested, you can still sit next to us. :)

A correction - if you order by phone you can buy tickets with credit card. But on-site (drinks, souveniers, tickets at the door) is all cash.

I wish I could go :( In Oz we have a team called "Double Take" who do re-voiced movies and I love it !! Have a look at their work on 'Hercules' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pN2SGzDx_-4&NR=1) (Check out all the clips, they've broken it into 1 minute segments for some reason...)
