More hatermongering by another right-wing nutbird.

"Enemy of humanity" is a bit strong to describe somebody who differs with you on abortion. Or it would be, for a rational person.

Have a look (http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2009/9/29/787607/-GOP-congressman:-President-Obama-an-enemy-of-humanity). Have a barf bag handy.

OMG. A conservative republican is against abortion and is making shocking statements to get attention to his cause.

Someone alert the media.

Oh. Wait.

Actually, a congressman making such statements is over the top, even for the Right. That he later changed his statement to 'I meant against unborn humanity' shows even he knows he ****ed up. I mean, I realize that Obama has been so busy going around giving abortions and encouraging others to do the same that it's interfering with his ability to get anything else done, but really........

The guy runs unopposed in a heavily gerrymandered district with a non-partisan party rating of +9 Republican (http://www.wrhammons.com/arizona-2nd-district.htm).

This is what's left of the Republican party. Right-wing psychopaths in safe districts who won't have to face any consequences from their actions. Joe Wilson, Michele Bachmann, and this ding-dong.

What a tool. And he was speaking at the "Take Back America" rally. Take it back from whom? I believe that America still belongs to; Americans! OMG!

I'm guessing this is a different Take Back America conference (http://www.winningbackamerica.com/) than the one most of the major Democratic party leaders spoke at in 2004?

Or do the conference organizers just not want anybody to have America?

As for the congressman's comments. Stupid and hyperbolic.

Why in the HELL is this stuff news?

Because people react. The news is all about obtaining reactions and fear mongering and people like this are the trolls. If people stop reacting to them, they will go away.

The media outlets need an ignore button.

Indeed. It used to be the "off" button on the TV. We're beyond that now.

So, serious questions to any Republicans reading this.

Background: To me, Sarah Palin is pretty much the definition of a rightwing nutbag. Yesterday, Republican Base Still Wild about Sarah Palin (http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE58S39420090929) described Sarah Palin's importance to the Republican rank and file.

Charles M. Webster, the state GOP chairman in Maine, said Republicans there are very enthusiastic about Palin largely because they can see themselves in her.

Questions: What is your reaction when a Republican Party official says that Republicans are like Sarah Palin? Do you feel at home in a party where Sarah Palin is (apparently) an important player or do you wish a more centrist, capable Republican politician would appear? If Sarah Palin remains viable, do you ever think of voting Independent?

Webster, the state GOP chairman in Maine, said Republicans there are very enthusiastic about Palin largely because they can see themselves in herAnd I always thought that Republicans are enthusiastic about Palin because she enjoys being a mean, petty person. Two things can be equally true, I guess.

I thought they were enthusiastic about her because she can pull off the sexy librarian look.

I can't speak to how widespread it is, but we saw a standup comic last night and he did a couple Sarah Palin jokes. I glanced over at the table of people who had earlier booed when the comic mentioned Obama. There was at least one lady sitting with a VERY thin-lipped scowl while he was pointing out that "rogue" and "quitter" aren't the same thing.

As a loyal Republican, I admire Sarah Palin because she successfully marries self-indulgence and license to judgmental condemnation and iron-fisted cruelty in a way that we haven't seen since Roy Cohn.

George W Bush wants to know if your precious Sarah Palin ever allowed her state to execute a retard, Strangler Lewis. George W Bush didn't think so.

As a loyal Republican, you have to support Sarah Palin because Rush told you to.

That is all you need to know.
