I got slammed with work but I'm going to still try to make it - for part of the festivities at least.

I finished the BFI book; I'm still very much appreciating the film this morning.

I started looking up all of the books in the BFI series. Very interesting, indeed.

Oh and I don't know who is in the cast for the remake. Those were guesses.
