Reading about Marie Antoinette and finding that I'm so drawn into the minutea of French Court culture that I can't stop reading - even though it's a bit dry and I can't keep all of these people with numerous name straight. I'm about half way through and things are still happy in court. Heads will roll soon, I think.

When it comes time for rolling heads, I've got a great bio on the executioner of Paris and his family.:D

Lazy evening following a very busy, crazy day with lots of wild kids, eggs, candy, food, messes, etc. Nice day, but kind of hectic.

Yeah, I'm wondering if I should read Simon Schama's Citizens next since it is about the revolution - or maybe I'll just kill myself reading that much French history. ;)

Worked my tuckus off at... doing nothing.

Well I did make a hearty and unhealthy breakfast: Cook an entire package of bacon, then fry up the potatoes using the bacon grease instead of oil. Also mix in garlic and Spike. When the potatoes are close to being down, melt a hunk of butter (not margarine) in a saucepan. Scramble up four eggs with milk and whip in the melted butter. Cook the eggs. Put everything on a plate. Pour milk into two frozen glasses and pig out.

That and I took down a ceiling fan that kept trying to commit suicide.

Trying to figure out where this weekend went. Finishing my breakfast of donut and decaf. Getting over the shock that the tests I had running over the weekend actually ran successfully. Wondering if it's too late to get the day after Coachella off.

...just stting here at work, on lunch...clock watching for 4:30 to come quickly...

...thinking about gathering all my tax crap together and getting it taken care of on thursday since I now have it off...

It is very gusty outside, and chilly...with this weather being so wierd and going from one extreme to another over night I am wondering if I will ever get over my sinus infection...

Slept in, now just checking the boards after breakfast. Spring Break ain't a bad deal for me. My morning job goes away but I'll have to show up in the evenings. I can take that.

Now deciding which chores to aim for today. Hoping that evil puzzle won't call my name too loudly. I won't touch it until I've done something constructive.

Ya know, Burger King is introducing something that just might interest you. ;)

Enormous Omelet Sandwich

Only a mere 47 grams of fat, unlike this beauty which weighs in with a whopping 107 grams of fat (1400 calories).

My arteries constrict just thinking about these items.
