Recipe for Creamy Chicken and Rice Popovers (as found on the back of a box of Success rice)

Quote:

1 bag Success® White, Success® Brown, or Success® Jasmine Rice
non-stick cooking spray
2 cans crescent roll dough
1 cup cooked chicken, cubed
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Prepare rice according to package directions.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Unroll dough and make 2 large squares from each can, pressing seams to seal. Combine remaining ingredients with rice. Evenly divide mixture on dough squares. Pull up each corner of the dough towards the center, pressing to seal. Place on baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Except that in Vietnam, having been a French colony, French is a commonly spoken language, unlikely to fall prey to poor translations/transliterations.

Tonight's spread is a spiral-sliced ham with whiskey honey glaze, and roast potatoes with lemon olive oil, garlic, oregano, and Kosher salt.

:D

Cheesy Chicken and Spicy Rice - I don't really have a recipe, I'm kind of experimenting here...

Rose really seems to like it. Not as much as she liked the sangria, though.

:D
