Thanks for your post clarifying your state of mind, Erica- I know that you know how very much we all care about you, and that any seemingly flippant remarks were merely (and obviously, at least to me) a way to lighten up with dark humor, something that most of us employ to great effect around here.

Spent too much time on iTunes tonight, but I found an awesome version of "Volare" by the Gipsy Kings. Awesome. Was not successful in downloading Peer Gynt in the version I liked. Grr.

I do thank everyone here for the support that I do get. I think my question was more a moment of rhetorical flabberghastery. (That might be my new favorite made up word). While things are more frustrating as of late, more than the recommended daily allowance, I'm actually just fine. That was me just trying to poke fun at myself, my situation and life in general.

Oh, I know, and I know you need no defending. It was just how the responses struck me. I'm sure I read too much into them, but 3 "life sucks" posts in a row got to me.

Lordy Lou. WTF is going on here?

Erica's obviously had a rough time and this is the way you respond? This is how you react when someone asks when things get good in life? Life's a bitch and then you die?

I know, you're going to say you're kidding, but the fact is that this is your reaction, this is how you posted. Yeech.

What??? I thought riding in your own limousine was a sign that you had "made it" and life was good... :D

The video was terminally adorable.

The distinction is "getting loaded into a long black car" as opposed to "getting into a long black car loaded".

Or "getting loaded, in the back of a long black car" which I think is what most people seem to do. My exposure sole to a limo was for a funeral, no champagne there.

No, no. Here's the full context again:

Sometimes it's mistakes and bad times that lead to wisdom and happiness, and those that lead "easy" lives end up totally unprepared to deal with life....not to mention becoming total assholes in the process.
In other words, the obscenely privileged and other people who get everything they want, every moment of their lives, are usually assholes.

I'm sorry if it looks like I over reacted. Life is just so wonderful, and wonderful in its trials. I wish everyone could see life as a great adventure, where the sadness is as strong as the happiness, and only contributes to the latter later on.

Day 2 of caffeine-free GD, and I feel better already. Of course, that may have something to do with going to bed 2 hours earlier last night than the night before.

Sooo....

Has anyone heard from a hopefully very happy, chocolate hoarding BTD?
