I dont believe I was stating "let death come".
What I was trying to imply was that easy was very young childhood.
I said nothing about death, and know nothing of the personal issues she may be having.

Easy is boring in a great many ways. But I dont expect it to every be easy again.

Right now, I'm sitting here in editing hell, because of some very bad footage that I shot early on when I was still getting used to my camera 5 months ago (thank god it was a freebie job). It's driving me nuts, because some key shots that would totally make the story are just screwed up beyond hope. Very frustrating indeed. So, I'll probably have to spend extra time adding in some effects to distract from the lack of storyline. (But, hey, that tactic works for some big blockbuster films. ;) )

A good note about the business - I got my second camera yesterday at an absolute steal. I got an almost new Canon XL2 for $2,200. (A man bought it in March, used it twice, and decided to upgrade himself to HD instead.) It's gorgeous, and has a lot of great features.

Yeehaw! Fixed the one segment with a fancy-schmancy graphical effect that will be sure to awe. And, I don't feel guilty at all.

On another note - ever have one of those days where you feel like you're talking to yourself? ;)

Then again, you're all probably not as bored as I am right now, looking at the same scene over and over and over.

I hate editing for that very reason.

I talk to myself all the time. I always think I'm talking to my husband or son but come to find out it's just me. I'm beginning to think I speak Japanese and just don't know it;)

Worse is having your Hubby silently walk away from you and you are there talking to them...

I just got back from my lunchtime walk. Being in the area we're in (at work) I can have quite a range of "visual experiences" on my lunchtime walks just by altering course a few blocks.

Today's walk prompted the following pondering.

How low on the hooker totem pole do you have to be to end up working the morning shift on a Tuesday at the corner of 60th and San Pablo?

Followed by this: And how much demand is there that two women are working this shift?
