I just remembered that Mickey Lumbo came over and spent an afternoon visiting with Susan a couple of weeks ago. Female took an instant liking to him and sat in his lap (which is rare - she usually stayed away from people she didn't know).

She probably felt that her life was complete having met such a sweet, wonderful man :)

So instead of the cat predicting when people will die, ML predicts when cats will die? *shudder*

Ah, dark humor. Kevy, you guys went above and beyond for Female's passing, and I'm sure she appreciated it.

She must've been very happy to live that long :)

I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like she had amazing parents and a very long life.

I'm sorry for your loss. Female and Charles were kindrid spirits. They bpth held on much longer than anyone thought they would. I'm glad you got to stay with Female and give her love as she passed. I hope her and Charles meet in that place where cats go when they leave us. (I want to go there.)

It's always sad to hear of loved ones leaving. Thank you for giving her a good life and a good death.

Two days after the fact and I am feeling okay. I made my peace with it.

Time to get back to our (my) usual frivolity.
