Freakin' awesome!

As Lisa said, once it made a full lap of the audience, they released it and it floated off into nothingness. Lisa kept her eye on it until it completely disappeared from view high in the southwest night sky.

Oh, Lisa! I'm so sorry!

When did you lose an eye?

On the upside, do you get to wear a pirate patch? :argghh:

I am very surprised that they let them do that. Something that large floating off loose into the sky - Wow!

I was wondering about its hazardous nature, being that there are creatures that would find plastic piggies interesting enough. What's the ecological impact of a loose inflatable pig?

On the flipside, the ecological impact is likely much less than that of the things the piggy protests...

But now to the next question, how much will the person who finds him get for piggy on ebay?

Ghoulish Delight 04-28-2008 01:58 PM

I don't know that "let" was part of the equation.

I can just imagine the conversation between a fighter pilot sent up to investigate this UFS* and their base.

"It's a pig."
"A MIG?!"
"No. A Pig, as in pork. A giant flying pig."
"ummm... Right...."

Step right up and place your bets ladies and gentlemen......

How long will it be before said pig is up for auction on EBay?

Bonus points if you come closest to the actual selling price.

alphabassettgrrl 04-28-2008 07:29 PM

It'll show up on Ebay in week and will sell for $559.

See my post on the flying pig here.
