As Lisa said, once it made a full lap of the audience, they released it and it floated off into nothingness. Lisa kept her eye on it until it completely disappeared from view high in the southwest night sky.

I am very surprised that they let them do that. Something that large floating off loose into the sky - Wow!

I was wondering about its hazardous nature, being that there are creatures that would find plastic piggies interesting enough. What's the ecological impact of a loose inflatable pig?

On the flipside, the ecological impact is likely much less than that of the things the piggy protests...

But now to the next question, how much will the person who finds him get for piggy on ebay?

I don't know that "let" was part of the equation.

I can just imagine the conversation between a fighter pilot sent up to investigate this UFS* and their base.

"It's a pig."

"No. A Pig, as in pork. A giant flying pig."
"ummm... Right...."
