I usually *am* talking to myself. Even when I'm alone.

She's cuuuuuuuuuuuuuutte!!! I like naming her Sinistre or naming herself. Names usually come if you give it a couple of days, as I'm sure you are very much aware.

I've got a girl kitty and she's wonderful.

I bought some and it's just not that good. ::Sigh:: It is blue though.

You know, T.S. Eliott's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" has some great names: Jellylorum, Skimbleshanks, Grizzabella, Mungojerrie, Rumpleteaser, etc.

I like the Skimbleshanks song. :)

How interesting! I've moved dead people but never washed them.

I have "We Are FAmily" stuck in my head. It was the finale song for tonight's dance rehearsal. And it's better than the other candidate for sticking around - the Barney song. ::shudder::

I know! It's so happy! And Mr. Mistoffelees!

Cats wasn't all that bad, but I sometimes think that the songs on their own are better than the show as a whole. That's more a compliment to the songs than a complaint about the show, btw.

I liked my serving yogurt job. Of course, it was my first job, and I was happy to have that $2.65 an hour.

My "almost" weirdest job is one I didn't get. Twenty years or so ago, I interviewed in southern California for an executive assistant job to a star. The interviewer was a stressed out business manager, and the star, it turned out, was Zsa Zsa Gabor, whom I never got to meet. The interview was going well until it emerged that one of the duties was to follow Zsa Zsa into her stables while she gave orders. I mentioned my uncontrolled allergy to horses. He said he'd talk to her about it. I didn't get the job. The stables were the dealbreaker.

Bittersweet memory. The original Skimbleshanks in the New York production, Reed Jones, was a friend of ours, and one of the first we lost to HIV in the eighties.

Thanks for all the support. After sleeping on it I was thinking I might have been going overboard but you have boosted me back up and I am ready to fight the fight! :) (the typos though - wow - I can tell I was typing fast and pissed.)

NA - Kitty names - what a cute Kitty...

How about Mele - not sure how to spell it - but you say it May Lay (isn't that hawaiian or something for storm or disarray or something?)

I also like Beek. As in Beek's place - a fun place to take the family off roading (well dirt roading) to near Corona.

Or Hermione? ;) Okay - I'm probably just jonesing for the movie and book with that one.

Just don't call her Mrs. Morgan - even if she does like to cause trouble. ;)

I think I could use about a gallon of Peet's right about now.
