Ugh - Sprint is stressing me OUT!

Online, it says I owe $77.62 (what I would normally owe)... On the phone it says I owe $177.62, which I paid $100.00 of, which is reflected online and from my bank account...

Then, I check to see when my subscription expires, and it's not until August of this year? I was pretty certain it was March of this year or possibly even earlier, since the last changes were made at the tail end of 2004, and Sprint only had 1 and 2 year contracts.

Ugh.

And I'm on perma-hold.

I haven't done anything today except post & read celebrity gossip.

Actually, scratch that. I arrive at work at 7:30 a.m. and I completed payroll & did my daily tasks. I was dunzo at like, 9. Slow business today.

4 more hours to go..

I would like it noted for the record that plastic knives make absolutely horrible chopsticks.

Morrigoon 06-22-2007 12:05 PM

Duly noted.

Well, my pseudo-doubts have been quashed. He's back, and he's lookin' mighty fine (not that I ever doubted his fine-ness) :D

Lookin' good Indy! :)

Now, I wonder what this new installment will be called. Considering Indy's age, I like Indiana Jones & the Early Bird Special.

MouseWife 06-22-2007 01:59 PM

I look forward to the next installment of the Indy films. I will tell the family who are also big fans.

I love your new name, AllyOops!

Well, I have some good news {to me}, I was able to upgrade to The Lodge and now have amenities!! {sorry, I know the LoT of you are going without, willingly at that, but I, alas, am a weenie...}

Just talked with the Hubby and he said that the trolley line in Downtown San Diego snapped!! {reminds me of the Magic Mtn. incident...} and that the livewire was laying about for a while!! Seems a truck hit it some blocks away...

Oddly when I think about this, I would think it would work well.

Perhaps it might have worked better with something other than pene pesto. Though I've tried it in the past with other foods and recall similar failure. They flex too much and the width/depth proportion is all wrong.

Before trying it, it seems like a good theory. That's why I attempted it (well, that and lack of any other option besides fingers). But in practice, not so much.

Fold up a strip of paper into a block, insert between the handles of the plastic knives and then rubber band them there. Then use as tongs.

Still wouldn't have worked for this application. The plastic-on-pesto coefficient of friction was way too low. And, with the amount of flex in these knives, I have my doubts it'd be particularly useful even on a less oily and round food item.

Hopefully this conversation will prompt me to actually remember to replace the fork I usually keep at my desk but recently lost rack of.
