We're hoping for an awesome paycheck so we can build the daycare kids a fort over the next 5 days. Our older wooden swing set is on it's last days so I pulled it off the yard and the kids are just up in arms over what to do. For some reason the old set was the center of their play. Wait until they see what Robb's got planned for them :)

By the way, Brigitte - I love your little pug in your avatar. What a cutie!

I feel your pain guys.

Yeah.. combined with how much I detest Fridays, (which I do) and its payday, its bound to be a great day. [/SARCASM]

Thanks! He's one of 3 we have :) He was the first and is named Mojo! He is about 7 now. We have a female also, her name is Tinker Bell and she's about 4. They had puppies last summer (some of you might remember our massive puppy loss) only one of which survived, so his name is Lucky :) I should try to get a mass Pug photo, but Lucky is always in motion.

You're totally right DPR, more reasons to come on down (and I have plenty, believe me).

I'm definitely a glass half full person, but was cranky this morning. I just took a walk outside, went to Starbucks and picked up a latte for my boss. It's a gorgeous day here, I'm doing better, thank you!

Oh, and haha on visiting Rudy. Shall I crawl along the masoleum floor for my pilgrimage? :p

He might enjoy a visit after you've watched a movie nearby.

Well- we owe taxes and just found out that they will now be forcefully removed from my check! Damn state of CA tax board. With more money at work comes more taxes to be paid...we moved into a higher tax bracket or something and bammo.

So - yeah - it's payday but I can't spend much knowing that for the next 3-4 weeks I'll have less money to bring home.

And of course that coincides with back to school shopping and a birthday !!!

So - bAH!

At least it's the weekend - or almost the weekend. And although we won't be going off roading, or so I'm told, we're going to try our first geocache hunt and see if we can learn to use the gps thing-a-ma-jigger.

But - slowest day EVAR! Yes indeedy. It's only 10:30 and I was ready to go home about 2 1/2 hours ago. Can't we just call it a day?

I am so craving sushi.

Brigitte 06-29-2007 11:52 AM

I've never had sushi.

blueerica 06-29-2007 11:56 AM

Sushi is good.

Apparently, J found a decent place in Utah. Of course, he only has California rolls, so I'll just have to be the judge of that. :)
