I love my Shure e2c earbuds. I also didn't pay full price for them.

I have the E3C's. For ear buds they kick patootee, but still not as good as a good pair of full surround headphones.

Heh, looks like it's my day to disagree with you. I have recently realized how subpar my iPod buds are, since I've started using them every day. The bass absolutely sucks no matter the EQ setting. I started looking at buying a nice set but they're so damn expensive. I'll put it on my wishlist for Hanukkah...

Watching a baseball game using TiVo does go a lot quicker - but it still takes most of an evening.

I couldn't figure out a significant difference to justify the price difference. What's the difference?

Yeah, I have no illusions that the sound quality is great. But I don't listen to music. The only reason I ever listen to my iPod is as a white noise generator (essentially). Either I'm tuning out the sounds of a gym or the sounds of the office. Six months with the current selection of songs on there and I still couldn't much tell you what's on there.

So the only really important thing to me is comfort and I'm surprised as how comfortable I find them.

Those ipod buds were not designed for me. They don't stay in my ear at all.

And if the Dodgers would just score some runs and get a lead, I could skip through the game much faster. So I suggest you lodge your complaint with them.

The Bose earbuds are amazing, though out of my price range. I have a friend that got a set for Christmas last year. Put me in the Jealous column.

Your wish has been granted!

I'm not entirely sure I approve of Roger Clemens "rent-an-arm" career of he last couple years but congratulations to him. Quite an achievement in the five-man era.

Otherwise, still resisting the urge to hope for Bonds twisting his knee during a late night piss or something.

That's why I like hockey. 3 20 minute periods. Then the game is over. Unless there is OT. In the playoffs. Then the game can go on forever and ever and ever. Like a Dallas/Vancouver that went into quad OT. That equals 2 full hockey games and 1 period of OT. Oy vey.
