I was amused by the search that you used to find it: "highlight=kevyisadodohead"

ETA: And for the record: no such post exists :p

When I first lost weight in early 2006, most of my family (as I later found out) was talking behind my back about me possibly being on drugs. You know, can't a girl be tired from extra school and work and lose a couple dozen pounds without being persecuted? I knew the vibe was off, and it just made me more stressed out. It was the opposite of what I needed. Sorry for your stress, MG.

So are some drugs better than others for weight loss?

If it makes you feel better, losing weight is certainly not a sign of doing drugs.

But of cancer. When my grandfather suddenly lost a lot of weight we all congratulated him on how great he looked (he didn't tell anybody he was sick until the very end). Then he died.

Feel better? I should probably practice my warm fuzzies.

=====

In other Soooooo..... news if I believed in luck as anything other than coincidence I'd be moving to Vegas. I've come out ahead on my last two visits to gambling establishments. I won every game I played at the county fair last weekend. I played poker online last night for the first time in about 6 months and promptly won the first sit-and-go ($50 on $10) and then came in 6th in a 571 person tournament ($35 on $2) and doubled a $20 buy-in playing blackjack.

If I thought buying a ticket would significantly increase my chances of winning, I might even consider a lottery ticket.

The time I lost tons of weight (I was down to 123 pounds) I was incredibly stressed and depressed. I'm sure happy now! ;)

Humm, As an abstract exercise, what numbers would you pick for the lottery? Five numbers and a 6th for the powerball.

Might as well make it 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 for the powerball - the odds are the same as any other combination.
