I'm not going out of town after all - which is good, since apparently the full moon will be wrecking this weekend's Perseid meteor showers anyway.

Ok there was earlier talk of maybe seeing Psycho at the Cemetery. Um, this may be the last chance for a genuine LoT cemetery screening outting, the ONLY one of the season (tho some people did go to an early one of I don't remember what).

Anyone interested?

I'm not sure why they haven't announced anything past Psycho. Saturday is a remote possibility for me but I'm too tired to make any commitments. I've been working 24/7 for the past 10 days and I'm exhausted.

Well now they've announced Edward Scissorhands and Spinal Tap for Labor Day weekend. Bah, I'll be away from home. But those sound like two uber-popular titles.

Ok, that was not quite last chance - though it was the last show of the summer.

BUT - there's a Halloween Season special this coming Saturday, October 15 .... Poltergeist in the Cemetery.

The bf and I are going. If anyone would like to join us to ring in the Halloween Season in style, we'd love to make a party of it!

Well, the August Calendar has been posted, and this is turning out to be a pretty lackluster Cemetery season.

BUT - there are two oldies and goodies I wouldn't mind seeing there - The Terminator on August 11, and The Birds on August 25. I would be sad if the entire summer went by without a single cemetery screening (bad enough I'm not doing any Hollywood Bowl this year) ...


so ... if anyone's interested on pulling together one LoT cemetery show for old times' sake ...

Actually, would love to see The Big Lebowski this weekend.
