Well, you know what they say.

Big shoes...
Spoiler:
Big feet

FYI, I wear size 15 EEEE shoes.

I've met you once, so I know you are pretty tall, but do you think an average 6 foot guy like myself would have the same issues?

And, I know you are wondering. I'm average there as well.

Spoiler:
I wear a size 12 W shoe.

I don't know. I was with my friend who is probably around 5'10" and he was able to ride it without injury.

From what I understand it's mostly linebackers and above that are affected. Still sucks majorly though.

Gemini Cricket 07-10-2012 04:15 PM

I'm 5' 9" ish and was uncomfortable. I have long legs, tho. I felt like I was going to fly out of the bobsled. Also, getting out of the bobsled now is way harder than getting in.

Sounds a lot like the current Space Mountain vehicles here in Orlando. Me getting into or out of one of those makes for real pratfall material. Ugh. I dread my next trip to the much-loved Matterhorn.

Correction: Less-loved Matterhorn. :(

LSPoorEeyorick 07-11-2012 12:32 PM

I was surprised to fit somewhat comfortably in the new Matterhorn seats. Know what's less-than-graceful for me? Half of the back seat of Splash. I can get in, but I could use a shoehorn getting out.

Yes, very similar, although the Matterhorn has seat belts instead of lap bars. Getting out of those things always involves me making strange noises.

Disney Park Air Fresheners
posted on an official Disney blog, so I have to assume they're for real
