I went.

I saw.

I Conquered!

It was a great ride! They were letting everyone in. Not just APers. It was a soft opening. And we waited 55 minutes starting at 5:55. Thanks for the heads up Chris, Lisa, and everyone here! LoT ROCKS! I tried so hard to win tickets to go, and all I really needed was LoT and to walk right on. :snap:

I rode it tonight. No AP needed. My wait was only about 15 minutes thanks to a friend who hopped in line when I was leaving work.

My review - eh.

I am super excited that there is movement in the lagoon again. My thoughts on the ride are pretty much summed up by CP. I had a huge issue with the *diving* and then being able to see the water line without looking. Why are we diving and then back in the "shallows"? I felt like we were watching random parts of Finding Nemo, not trying to find Nemo, or even follow Nemo on his adventures. Not super impressed with the jellyfish either - we could see the poles they were on without even looking for them.

I'll go again with people who haven't been on it, or who want to go on it. But I won't be the person who wants to go on it when it's a 2 hour line. I liked it more than TMAoWtP (though that isn't hard to beat).

Saw last night and agree with most of the criticisms, the projects while cool, make it more a movie ride - though I think you have different experiences based on where you sit in the sub and time of day, so I can see some move to repeat viewings.

After riding twice, I got hungy and had dinner instead of being able to take a night time ride (they closed the attraction early to prep it for the Press hoopla) So Nirvana Man, Babbet, and Gemini Cricket had to console themselves with truffle oil instead of submarines.

We did get to view the alternative (wheelchair accessible) version of the attraction and I was rather impressed with that one - What do you know, that Pixar Animation looks much better on a big screen TV. I'd recommend that after riding the subs in reality, you check them out in this virtual space.

I'm glad I got to see the wheelchair accessible attraction. I enjoyed the subtitles.

I missed the nod to the original attraction at the end of the ride, but saw it on the screen.

I want their TV.

I'll let Babette or NM post about their plans for the queue.

You mean to say that that trio did not get to ride at all?? Ok, that totally sucks.

No, they closed the attraction at about 9:00 and sent everyone who was in the queue out back out to the park. We had just arrived via Monorail to get in the queue.
