I looked it up. Apparently Richard Gere has been on the cover of Rolling Stone twice. 1980 and 1985. eBay provides pictures of both covers without much work and it is definitely 1985.

At least I didn't mention that while the box of Trivial Pursuit dates from 1983 or later the Yahtzee is probably from the mid '70s or earlier.

OMG! I remember that issue! There was a picture of Roger Daltry in a teeny tiny bikini bottom sunning himself. I thought it was odd.

Are you saying that the 1982 cover is the one in the photo, or just pointing out a cover I missed? The one in Lisa's picture is definitely the April 25, 1985 cover:
