I love watching the reations of the jury, especially James.

Yes, Cerie came out and played the puppet master. I think, much as I hate it, she might take the whole thing.... |
I'm still in a stupor. After Erik gave up immunity my jaw dropped and I still haven't picked it up. Those girls played him like pros. Every single word they uttered at tribal council was cleverly designed to make Erik want to give up immunity. I'm amazed at both the skill all of the girls exhibited to guilt-trip Erik into doing their bidding and at the stupidity of Erik to fall for it.

I can't remember, is there any reason to play for second? Because if not, then wasn't Erik correct that he had no shot anyway unless he may some big bold play since nobody would vote to give him the million dollars?
Other than getting to be in another episode did he really lose anything? |
I think I remember hearing a few years back that the runner-up gets $100K.
|
Ah, well then yes on the very stupid. I always thought it was just an all or nothing show (in terms of prizes at the end).

First season they were very explicit that it was $1mm, 100k, 50k, 25k, thanks for playing. Second season they were very explicit that Colby had made a $900K mistake in taking Tina to the final instead of Keith.

Yeah. Eric was a complete idiot. Cerie has been the true puppet master for most of the game. She deserves to win.

Amanda - Parv- Cerie - Natalie So where do we go from here? If Natalie gets immunity, Then Amanda-Parv will lobby to vote out Cerie and the three of them move on. If Natalie does not go for that then we have a two way tie for a competition tie-breaker between Cerie and either Amanda or Parv. Dollars to donuts Cerie will lose no matter what the tie-breaker is. If Cerie, by some miracle, gets immunity, Natalie goes home. If Amandaor Parv get immunity then they get to choose, they can take either Natalie or Cerie to the final three. Personally I think Natalie made more enemies then Cerie. So I'd boot Cerie. |
I would like to see Cerie win, simply for her ability to suck at challenges and yet, still stay so far under the radar while quietly controlling much of the game. Being a survivor, IMO, is more about brains than brawn. Cerie has used hers to stay alive every step of the way, even if she can't win an immunity challenge. That's commendable in my opinion.
Any yet, I think Moonie is right. She is going to have to pull out a win if she is going to go further than the next tribal council and she likely doesn't have that ability if there is anything physical about the challenge. None of the other women are exactly formidable physical challengers though, so she does have a slight chance. If, by some miracle, she survives the next tribal, she just might be able to pull something off. Unlikely - but possible. |
