We did a murder mystery game on the cruise ship. In the Beauty and the Beast dining room over lunch. People were staring. We had a ball.

Might come down if I get off work in time tomorrow. Would love to see CO.

Late hour and I'm still undecided. I even bowed out of other fun plans because of the cemetery.

But I have a bad feeling about it.

At a time when zapppop and i are going thru the greatest crisis in our relationship since breaking up (for reals) ... we are still going to try to work things out so we can remain friends, and would be completely comfortable, civil and sociable with each other at the cemetery tonight.

So the thought of our extended LoT group perhaps having to remain in separate camps, divided because of others in similar straights who, i get a feeling, can't say the same ... fills me with a sadness that I don't necessarily want to face.

Sigh, the immortal words of Rodney King.

All I can say is I'm going for the drama on-screen and have no desire to experience any off screen.

€uroMeinke 07-19-2008 04:17 PM

Well, so far all the dramatic monologues are coming form just one source

innerSpaceman 07-19-2008 04:51 PM

Yeah, because not everybody posts here (anymore).

It's likely all in my head, and I'm just being skittish after last weekend. But I've already had to deal with make sure you tell so-and-so that who's-his-face is going to be there. I'm weary of such things at this particular point.

That said, I don't expect any offscreen drama at all.

And those ring as famous last words to me nowadays.

Cadaverous Pallor 07-19-2008 07:11 PM

Um, hello? Talking about drama IS bringing drama. Duh. Keep this crap off board, please. Boo.

innerSpaceman 07-20-2008 01:07 AM

oh please. And you can L7 me all you want. I suppose there's a line and I'm sorry if I crossed it, but if we can never mention anything personal here ... there's an important benefit missing from having this tightknit and personally connected a community.

But yeah, touchy subject, and I'm sorry I brought it up. I'm a little shell shocked from drama, and I admit my judgment may have been poor in where I voiced my heartfelt concerns.

As it happened, everything went off without a hitch, for which I am eternally grateful.

Sorry for the faux pas ... but sheesh.

A small derail...
So, it turns out that I was the murderer at the Murder Mystery Party. How cool is that? AND only 2 people guessed I was the guilty party. The others found me 'too mellow to be a murderer'. Lol!
:D

It's always the quiet, mellow ones you have to worry about!

Cemetery was fun - getting there another story, though by the end I was laughing hysterically over the absurdity of the whole situation. Here's a pic of a car that made a U-turn on Santa Monica to try to cut in front of us. Need-less to say, with Lisa Driving, they did not succeed.
