We were at TJ's then in AP Lounge until about 10.

Funny.

The Elijah Wood spotting was after the park had ended it's normal operating day...

So....

So, Venezia was giving me hints about memo 4 -- we're not supposed to talk about content/research/etc. But we can say "hey, how's it going?" So I said I was stuggling with the research. And she tells me -- remember what he said in class, "you know more than you think." And I'm totally baffled. So I been searching cases and decided to actually go and look at some law review articles to see what's going on.

And lo and behold, published in a 2004 issue of the Seattle University Law Review, is an article called "You know more than you think" talking about this statute.

I am such a dork. I feel better now, though. At least I'm for sure on the right track.

My boy friend's back from his six year hiatus in freakin Montana and I suspect he's finally realized he's bi, but I'm not sure he's going to admit it to me any time soon. Our history is too complicated, and I'm sad. Most likely I'll just ask at some point. Or point to different guys and ask his opinion...... Something happened in Montana and he's clammed up. I'm trying not to rush him, but he's so changed. :( I think my dear friend fell in love. He's cut us all off for about 18 months and now he's like a wounded dog on my door step.....I have so many questions....I hate being patient. And I'm so glad he's back.

Chloe's sick....had a temp of 104.5+ for a few hours last night, so I missed Cassidy's school play. I saw it earlier in the day, but I was really looking forward to seeing it again. Chloe girl scared me, mumbling and laughing in her sleep, finally responded to an acetaminophen/ibruprofen cocktail. Now she's at 101 degrees and asleep next to me on the couch. I'm getting nervous about all our weekend plans going to hell......the girlie is definitely sick and I'm exhausted.

Claire - that stinks! Give Chloe extra hugs from me! I hate when they get high fevers...Bailey does it often...And we've done the mumbling/hallucinating thing as well...("Mommie, I can't get out of the tree!" when he was wide awake staring at me!)

Of course, you want to rush them to the Dr...Been there, done that! Been totally humilated by nurses who say.."Did you give him some Motrin? Well..lets try a little more." Fever breaks..kid is fine! Geesh!

Maybe it's a 24 hour thing and she'll be all well tonight!!!

So, just got back from our quarterly all-hands meeting. Wow, what a difference between working here and at my last job. The company broke $100 million in revenue, a record for us, and, assuming we meet projections for next quarter, will complete 7 straight years of revenue growth, something no other company in our industry can claim. They celebrated by giving free t-shirts marking the $100 million to the whole company. Little and lame, but I've always been of the opinion that how much free crap a company gives out is a good indicator of its health.

So it's been good to know that my tenure here is dependant on my performance, not on accountants trying to make a profit where there is none.
So yeah, it's a nice feeling that

Apparently my dad and aunt are using the proceeds from my grandmother's estate to take the whole famn damily on an Alaskan cruise. Fortunately, if this does happen they've magically picked the week after my summer term final. And I so mean magically, because it's my out-of-work cousin who's been doing the planning and would never have dreamed of asking when I (or any other family member) was available. My aunt and I in the same place for a week...my husband swears my aunt and I could be mother/daughter.

So - like usual, I waited to the last minute to make my travel arrangements for a conference I'm going to in May. So of course the conference hotel is booked, as is the rather old school swank hotel we usually stay at. So, I suggest a some swanky digs, that I always wanted to stay at - and the have a room, a delux room - we'll, I have to attend the conference right?

This was a bad lesson to learn - the company should have put me in a travel lodge out by the airport. I'm happy they didn't.

And, he is staying in these swanky digs WITHOUT ME! Whaaaaaaaaaaaa!

At least I get to go to Tokyo.
