It's generally a bad idea to listen to the playlist you made for a drive out to Vegas on a Monday, 3 weeks before you're going to go.

/sob. I wanna go now.

* Warning *

Egg rolls which feel only warm to the touch can still hold a searing hot filling.

Ouch.

I had a great drive out to Vegas in my Hertz rent-a-speck. I was however bumming about the lack of tunes issue until I noticed the 'XM' button on the radio. From there on in I was "deeptracking" my way across the desert.

Isn't it funny how your brain will occasionally decide that something that is too hot to hold in your hand would be better placed in your mouth?

XM is awesome. We'll have that too. And CDs. It's only a 3.5-4 hour drive but we need lots of music.

I suppose it would be completely geeky to bring my laptop, plug it into the wireless access card and work.

I hear you. We build our little cocoons of safe people, and then we stay there. But we don't get anywhere doing that.

That made me giggle. I would do the same thing. :)
