I let Nickolas go to ice cream with David for his b-day. His parents picked Nick up at 1 and he was dropped off at 4. I just feel so empty when he isn't home. I am going to have to get into the middle room so that I can start making cards again, just to have something to do when the overnight visitations start.

Just got back from attending my first ever demo derby.

God damn the combined smell of bbq and car wreckage is intoxicating.
