Another Top Chef recipe

Richard Blais Beef Goulash

Wow. That was very tasty, and pretty easy although I did have to pick up a pressure cooker. I also added a side of spatzle that was shown on the show but not in the linked video.

Kiva Steak at Blue Agave. I love that place!

Welcome to the world of the BEST home-made stocks.

Throw the remains of a roast chicken in there, with carrot, celery and onion, and cook for 2 hours under pressure and tell me that isn't the best stock EVER**

**Vegetarians - YMMV on that opinion, sorry.

Hot Dogs.

A person up at work held a hot dog taste test party and out out 8 diffrent brands the group picked Boar's Head as the overall best so we are trying them out tonight.

If I'm eating a hot dog, my dog-O-choice is Nathan's. I'll make a note to check out Boar's Head (the brand name, does not sound appetizing) ;)

Boar's Head is a very well-known and (I believe) respected brand in deli meats & cheeses.

Yeah, Boar's Head is some good stuff. Didn't know they made hot dogs, though.

I've always been a Nathan's man as well, but the Boar's Head were quite tasty.

Now I'm looking forward to tomorrow: It's Taco Tuesday!

I love Nathan's but the husband prefers Hebrew National.
