WB- that's great that your daughter can handle her curve with only PT. :)

Snowflake- congrats on paying off your car! I love that feeling.

Landis was actually quite personable and funny during the question and answer portion. He didn't speak for very long, he mostly took questions. The funniest moment was when a guy asked if the anti-doping people watch the racers pee in the cup. Floyd asked if he was looking for a job.

It was an exciting evening and I'm very glad I stopped at the bike shop so I saw the flyer and knew to go. Otherwise I wouldn't have found out. Somebody said he was on NPR earlier in the day and since I wasn't driving yesterday, I missed it which made me sad. I'll have to look it up on their website.

Started reading his book. I like him.

I just made resies for Boy and I for DLH in October. This way, after the Hallowwen Treat Oct 12th I don't have to worry about driving home. Yeah!!

Now, I just need $$ to pay for it.

Good for you, MG!:snap: It's nice to have something fun to look forward to.

Snow, congrats on paying off the car! Wonderful feeling, isn't it?

ABG, now i know who you're talking about! When I read his name yesterday I couldn't place him. What do you think as to the truth of the accusations that he doped? I don't think he did, but the poor guy may never be able to prove otherwise. Maybe they'll look more closely at the testing procedures and the possibility that the tests can be thrown off by things like extreme exertion, etc.

I got sent to ballet as my scoliosis PT. My curve isn't as bad as Tori's sounds, though. Still, ballet could be interesting?

What is up with all these typos I've been making lately. Is Lisa contagious? ;)

I'm a giant disease!

No you're not..... Just your typing.

I will try harder to get a pic of them together. Every time I get close they split up, or he herds her away from me.

I want very much to believe him. I started reading his book, and he talks about how much he has been driven his whole life, and how he can focus when he wants to. It's quite possible he did it clean. He said that the bad day was the anomaly, not the amazing ride. He talks about how strong he is, stronger than a lot of the other riders. That happens when your training is 24,000 miles in a year.

Likely result? Lab defends their results, cycling says test doesn't matter, Floyd gets to race. Nobody really wins, but Floyd loses overall because he can't clear his name. He needs a sample to test that doesn't have the problems associated with this sample, and that's not possible. The lab screwed up but won't admit it; so if cycling throws out the result, the lab gets to continue the illusion that they did it right, and Floyd gets to race again.

I feel bad for him. It really stinks to be caught up in this. He's just trying to clear his name and to race again. It's all he's done, and he loves it. People who don't want him to win can't believe he did it clean, and with a bad hip. I can believe it.

So, when will we be seeing you at Disneyland?
