Noted.

I need some plexiglas, a plexi knife, and about 30" of AWG9 - NOW!

As long as impish is okay with that...

So I'm engaged in an exercise in futility. I may have reason to be in Stockton this evening and so thought maybe we'd go out there this morning and find some way to spend the day.

So I'm tryign to find something to do there with zero luck. One Web site lists "their 10 favorite things" in Stockton and the UPS Store is on the list (I suspect it is an automatically generated list but that still seems indicatove).

Pixie Woods looks disturbing.

I drove back from Palm Springs yesterday and back to real life. Sigh. I made sure that I had internet access while I was there and then ended up using the laptop as a big paperweight. All I really needed was some shade, a bunch of yarn, and some books.

I had a lovely dinner at my absolute favorite restaurant, Zin American Bistro. I had salmon and mashed potatoes and asparagus and some wonderful sauce that made me want to lick the plate clean but I settled for ordering dessert instead.

Matchbox is another good restaurant (vintage pizza bistro, whatever that means) but this time the service was incredibly slow and it felt like days before my pizza arrived. But the food is good and the leftover thin-crust sausage and onion pizza was great reheated the next day for lunch.

Now if someone can just explain why I have to go back to work on Monday...

I considered Pixie Woods for a bit just for some kitsch value to the day but in the end my ongoing amusement/them park hiatus won out.

We're going to go hiking at Black Diamond instead and then get to Stockton in the evening.
