...took the red-eye to NYC on Thursday night. Spending the weekend at Mom and Dad's.
When I called into work on Friday and said I was working from "home," it was technically true, although it was about 3000 miles away from the home I imagine they thought I was referring to.

Anyway, last night I went to the final concert of New York's Metro Mass Choir at Town Hall. My kid sister is a soloist, so I wanted to show my support. She was fantastic!

I recorded the whole show with a stealth mic and my minidisc recorder and grabbed some photos and lo-res video with my digi camera. Since I'm not spending as much time here on the boards this weekend as I normally do, I figured I'd share a little of the show with you - so here's a three minute excerpt .

We were up early..out the door at 8:00am...sat thru 3 1/2 hours of cheerleading tryouts...drove thru Wendy's for lunch (got 3 free frosty's!), sat in the HEAT (95 degrees here!) and watched Bailey's baseball game!

Stupid little league rules...if you run out of time and can't finish the inning, it reverts back to the previous inning's score! We were up to bat, top of the 6th, caught up and were ahead by 1! Then they called the game! Stupid little league rules!

Kat's at a sleep over, husband is on a houseboat in Tennessee (that sucks too!) and Bailey and I are going to go out for Mexican food! I hear a Margarita calling my name!

Sitting around on the couch -- reading the bazillion emails from the past week -- putting off the giant mound of laundry -- wondering why it's not warm here.

Laundry. Laying around after staying up late. Pulled out the fans to deal with heat. Feeling low energy today.
