It's funny that on Jenn's blog, it kinda looks like her long pregnancy journey ended in her having a rabbit.

Cute little wiggler.

Haven't made it to the LoT for the "official" congratulations yet, so here it is:

Congratulations! Welcome to the universe, Sloan-spawn.

I have concluded my annual winter germ fest and am now eligible for baby visiting. Is there a wiki page for that yet? :p

I just started writing the loooong delivery post. No promises that it'll be up soon. Things were a little busy this week ;)

Cool, a trip report! With pictures? ;)

There's video. Doubt we'll post it, but I kept the lens aimed at the doc's head the whole time until Theo appears, didn't capture anything graphic. Unless you consider a slightly goopey newborn graphic.

I am proud of the moment the dr. commented, "He's the calmest dad I've ever seen." I had no idea how I'd handle the whole thing, but "Fascinated to the point of wanting to see (and succeeding) the whole shebang without flinching" was pretty close to dead last on my list of guesses.

GD has much to be proud of. I would have been a mess without him there to help me along. Any time he left the room and a contraction came on I felt like a panicked prey animal. Everything he did was right, and he never flinched, which gave me the confidence to face all of my own flinching with bravery.

Such love in this household. :)

-and that's the way it is supposed to be. Awesome...and Theo is SO cute!

So, if Theo inherited certain, um 'assets' from his father, the Bris today should be classified as major surgery
