Trust me, there is no reason at all to watch the original.

Considering our thoughts differ on most movies and TV shows I'll take a chance. Besides, I still have a fangirl crush on a young Dirk Benedict and I want to see the original characters vs how they were interpreted. From what I've read, Katee Sackhoff's interpretation of Starbuck is pretty dead on.

I love the new Battlestar Gallactica. The original was awful TV and other than character names and the initial set up they're really not much the same thing.

But there's only one season of it so you won't lose too much time to it.

Maybe I should listen to your suggestion. I think it was your recommendation that got me to buy the Farscape boxed set and Peacekeeper Wars without knowing anything about it.

Original BSG only has 25 episodes. I'll probably get to it around summer. I still need to re-watch Farscape. My friend and I watched it marathon style when we were both unemployed. I lost a lot of the detail because it was a bit too heavy to watch it that way, especially coming off Stargate SG-1 marathon style.

I've never seen Farscape so I don't think it was me.
