And is the launch tube different for this rockit version? Because the tube changed after the referb and that will stay.

Spoiler:
Yes the tube has changed. I like it now better, as seen in my spoiler report! :)

Hmmm, I've heard such otherwise crap reviews of the new launch tube effects. Someone compared them to the graphics found on any home computer ... but that doesn't make them bad.

Hurry Sunday.

To be fair, that wasn't the original plan...

I don't know. You don't bring an undercooked turkey to the table at Thanksgiving. If it is inedible, you finish cooking it or don't serve it at all.

After riding that ride, I would have rather not seen it at all...

Agreed, like I said, the mistake was to open it to the public beyond the already advertised Grad Nights. Matt made the right choice in my opinion by sacrificing Rockit to get Space open in time (accepting the fact that completely pulling the plug wasn't an option). So I don't think you can add this to the "they cheaped out" mistake list with Pooh and Pirates. Doesn't mean it's not a mistake, just a different kind of mistake.

From my experiences with a few other in-the-dark rollercoasters and prismatic lens goggles, the more rapid moving lights there are in the room, the better...

YMMV

At least they used RHCP, they could have easily used High School Musical or this lovely cover.

Bit of Advice for anyone planning to get Rockin' on Sunday ... arrive early enough to procure a fastpass for a ride time earlier than very late at night.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 01-05-2007 05:48 PM

So, is everyone doing the noon thingy over in the hub?

CoasterMatt 01-05-2007 05:50 PM

I'll go dressed as Sock Man!

If anyone manages to find a way to secure a spare fastpass or two, we would be most appreciative.
