Oof- I've been there. It really is wonderful when the ordeal is over.

(Also, last time I was in the emergency room, they put some kind of drug in the IV that made me reeeeealllly happy. When I was checking out a while later, one of the nurses told me she enjoyed my nice singing voice. I didn't remember singing, but apparently, I had, to the amusement of everyone in the ER.)

Congratulations Matt - I've been there as well. (keep the pain meds handy just in case it happens again).

Since I became a druggie back in Nov I'm down about 25lbs and other than one belt notch its not made one damn bit of visible difference. I still wear all the same stuff and I'm still waiting for that first "Are you losing weight?" comment.

Congrats! But I still ain't going anywhere near that photos link.

The photos have nothing to do with my kidney stone. But some people don't like them, especially the Disneyland photos.
