I got a new phone today as well as a new number. My old phone is still operational but all calls are forwarded to me new phone. However, I won't get text messages in a timely fashion, but I now can receive emails. I have to figure out how I'm going to manage this thing.

Yeah, that's why I'm keeping my ld one - at least for now. I actually need a 562 number for business purposes, so I had to get another number eventually.
