I've never had bacon and chocolate together...but it sounds like it is definitely worth a try and probably very good. Once I try it I'll probably never be the same again!

I think it would be far simpler to take a nice slice of oven-cooked maple bacon and dip it in chocolate.

actually had this a few weeks ago.
Eclipse Chocolate had put on a (I think easter) luncheon. one of the items served was cocoa-glazed durac bacon...

I nearly soiled myself it was so good.

Hmmm. LoT holiday present idea!

I used to dip a ton of things in chocolate for gifts. I'll have to try this.
