Bonds is in the top ten in homers and slugging in the NL, and he's leading the majors in walks and OPS. Someone will want him. Probably in the American League, where he can DH (like Hank Aaron did for his last 20 or so home runs). Plus, I bet his average goes back up now that this is behind him.

Of course, if he's indicted for perjury or tax evasion, that may diminish his value.

Oh, I'm sure that somebody will want him. I'm not sure that the price tag he wants will intersect what people are willing to pay.

If he finishes strong, people will pay because there'll be the prospect of him reaching 800. I can't imagine he'd retire with everyone assuming that Alex Rodriguez will have no trouble breaking his record.

Or a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the window and wheels that looks like a big tylenol.

It's always a nice feeling to find out that the owner of the company wants his [much lesser qualified] kid to do your job.

Then perhaps he should promote you :)
